Over the 23-year history of Sunlight Supply, Inc. our family gained extensive knowledge and expertise in real estate, primarily industrial warehousing. As both manufacturing and distribution operators ourselves we bought, sold, leased, subleased, remodeled, expanded, and built many properties. This experience today dove tails into this division of our family office. Cascade Range Investments, LLC is our real estate division. We own, acquire, develop, build and lease properties. We consider ourselves a tenant friendly landlord. We are thankful and appreciative and consider our tenants as valued customers. It is an interesting experience, selling your company, your life’s work. We are happy about a successful transaction and exit, but when the smoke clears one day you realize, we have no job, no salary, no 401k, no health benefits and no company to take a distribution from. All the members of our family office exited the day our company sold. For 23 years our family net worth was in the company. Then in June of 2018, no company, and all cash. With the banks paying 5 – 20 bps the task at hand for us became how to get good at financial investing to provide both income and growth. Cascade Range Capital, LLC was thus formed to make and manage the financial investments of our family office.
